The Weekend

Events

Chuppah begins at 5:30 PM, with dinner and dancing to follow.

Travel

Getting to Toronto.

Getting In

We recommend flying into Toronto Pearson Airport. Flights from Philadelphia are about 1.5 hours, with direct flights offered by American Airlines and Air Canada. Flights from New York, including Newark or LaGuardia, are significantly less expensive and run more often.

Getting Around the City

Toronto is a big grid and fairly easy to navigate. Ubers and Lyfts are readily available, though they may have surge pricing due to the long weekend. All recommended hotels have parking, free aside from the Royal Sonesta. Public transport (TTC), including buses, subways, and streetcars, is the best way to get around downtown.

Driving In to Toronto

Driving to Toronto is a great option as well. It is about 8 hours from Philadelphia. If you are planning to drive, keep in mind that Toronto traffic, especially between 4 and 6:30 PM, can be very hectic, so plan accordingly. If you are interested in carpooling, feel free to reach out, and we can help connect you to people nearby if possible.
